You are required to sign-up for and maintain a free GitHub account. See the “Submitting” menu to the left for more information.

Technologies

You are expected to utilize three main applications for this course:

  1. Atom Editor - Atom is a free versatile text editor. Other options: Komodo Edit, Sublime Text, etc
  2. GitHub Desktop App - We recommend this free GUI-based front-end application for connecting your GitHub account remotely. Other options: Terminal (MAC), Command Line or PowerShell (PC), SourceTree, etc.
  3. Most Up-to-Date Browser - You should have at least one current version of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and/or Internet Explorer or Edge.
