In addition, you’ll need to visit its GitHub repo often to access your homework requirements and the Issues board. Click the     icon from the navigation menu above to visit the repo at any time.

Our course follows a similar pattern as many site do across the web, linking multiple interfaces together. You’re aware of Moodle, but we also rely heavily on GitHub as both a learning resource and hosting service for your work. Continue reading below.

Services

You are required to sign-up for and maintain a free GitHub account.

Technologies

You are expected to utilize three main applications for this course:

1. Atom Editor - Atom is a free versatile text editor. Other options: Komodo Edit, Sublime Text, etc
2. GitHub Desktop App - We recommend this free GUI-based front-end application for connecting your GitHub account remotely. Other options: Terminal (MAC), Command Line or PowerShell (PC), SourceTree, etc.
3. Most Up-to-Date Browser - You should have at least one current version of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and/or Internet Explorer.
